On the 20th April 2020 Paint City was opened in response to the disaster management call to fight the COVID 19. We had an initial intake of 133 people but as they entered the facility the people tested for COVID 19 and TB. 23 people were quarantined for TB and 25 people were sent to quarantine at Lagoon Beach for COVID 19
